Announcement of Election Results:
Jeff Storey, Jim Snider and Gus Martell were announced as the 2017-2019 Board Members elect. They join current members Rolfe Hunt and Jay Sourbeer (Term 2016-2018)
Rolfe Hunt gave an update on the new development surrounding The Glades. The area nearest Terra Verde is zoned recreational. If a zoning change is requested he suggested The Glades oppose it due to the traffic that would be on Terra Verde Street. There are currently 75 homes on this street that would be directly impacted by the traffic. Another concern brought up was the storm water runoff.
Connie Cocklin brought up her concern of a traffic light tying the new St Joes development thru The Glades Trail Road.
Gus Martell reported that he is working with Gulf Power to change the street light bulbs to LED. A resident suggested he contact Paul Casto, Panama City Beach Public Works Director for assistance.
New resident, Bill Marr, requested the board consider allowing sheds.
Ron Barkley suggested the Board review the metal roof provision. Rolfe Hunt requested more volunteers for the Environmental Committee to do just that. Frank Hawk stated that metal roofs have been an issue of concern over many years at The Glades. Tom Easter stated the board need not approve all metal roofs just because some have been approved. Consensus of the audience was that no metal roofs be permitted on patio homes.
Connie Cocklin requested information on the Welcoming Committee. Rolfe stated that volunteers are needed for the committee to function as needed. Residents are welcome to contact the Board to volunteer.

Rolfe Hunt thanked Bob Henry for his years of service to the Board and the Community. He then thanked Gus Martell for his service to the Board and as the Environmental Chairperson and for continuing to serve.
Meeting was adjourned at 3:04 PM
