The Glades Homeowner’s Association held a Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 6:30 PM, Central Time at the Gulf Coast Baptist Church, located 10620 Hutchinson Blvd., Panama City Beach, FL 32407. There were fourteen owners present at the meeting.

Opening Remarks
Rolfe Hunt called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM and welcomed those in attendance.
Quorum was attained with three voting board members present.
Brian Bischoff motioned to approve the 07/21/16 and 08/25/16 meeting minutes; Gus Martell seconded motion and all were in favor. Motion carried.
Old business
Mary Frost has set up a Facebook closed group. 29 residents have become members as of 09/20/2016
Brian Bischoff reported his findings regarding a new web page via at an annual cost ranging from $67 -$97 per month. Discussion
Update on improper disposal of lawn waste – Rolfe Hunt reported that temporary “No Dumping” signs have been placed in areas of concern and seem to have worked. Letter went out re: proper waste disposal as well. Most have adhered.

Treasurer’s Report
George McNitt reported on the association’s YTD revenue and expenses through September 21, 2016
Assets and Liabilities as of September 21, 2016 show balance of $97,666.24
Reports were provided to the board and are included with the minutes of the meeting for review by owners
Motion to approve the Treasurer’s report made by Gus Martell, seconded by Brian Bischoff. All were in favor. Motion carried.
Owner - Board Communications Report
Newsletter status – No report in Bob Henry’s absence.
Public Relations
No report in Trisha McGrath’s absence.
Repair and Maintenance Report
Gus Martell reported on maintenance and repairs including the repair to the door on the maintenance building.
Gus Martell working with Bay Landscaping on entrance landscape.

Environmental Report
Brian Bischoff reported notifications had been sent for rule infractions to two residents.
Face to face communication was had with others regarding rule infractions.
Brian Bischoff stated he welcomes calls from residents reporting infractions.
Zero requests for garage sales. Two requests for fence installation since the last meeting.
Brian Bischoff has created Gmail accounts for each of the pertinent positions of Board operations that will allow for communications to continuously flow even when the current representative of that position has left.

New Business
No New Business
Terry Nanney requested the board look into installation of a flag. He recommended the Board schedule a meeting with the new developers of the adjacent property to update residents on the new construction plans. He recommended the Board communicate to the Hombre Golf Course the need to maintain the cart paths and back areas of the golf course.
Hermann Bohn would also like more information on the adjacent construction.
David Harless apologized for a confrontation with Board Member Jay Sourbeer as he was unaware of the rule that stipulates lawn waste is to be disposed of at the end of each individual homeowner’s driveway.
Bill Henry expressed concern regarding proper drainage from the new construction and its effect on the community.
Unknown resident requested information on how to apply for approval to paint his house and install a retention wall. Mr. Bischoff stated the forms can be found on the website and emailed for approval.
Rolfe Hunt motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:35PM, Gus Martell seconded the motion and all were in favor.
